ARRIBAS WINE Vinho Branco Saroto Skin Contact '24

A vibrant, textured skin-contact white from the rugged high-altitude vineyards of Trás-os-Montes, Portugal. This is a field-blend orange wine with real personality from one of the most exciting young producers in the region.

Tasting Notes Golden-yellow hue with aromas of macerated lemon peel, Mediterranean herbs, dried flowers, white peach, and saline minerality. The palate is round yet lively, with bright natural acidity, light tannic grip, juicy fruit, and a long, savory, refreshing finish.

Key Details

• Grapes: Field blend of traditional varieties (Verdelho, Malvasia, Posto Branco, Bastardo Branco, and others)
• Vineyard: Old vines (50–70+ years) at 650–700m altitude on decomposed granite, quartz, and clay soils in Peredo de Bemposta
• Vinification: Hand-harvested, foot-trodden with 3–4 days skin contact, spontaneous fermentation in used French oak barrels, full malolactic, aged 7 months on lees. Unfined and unfiltered.
