The ASHKAHN Wines Rose Water Rosé is a delicate, low-intervention rosé made from 100% Pinot Noir grapes sourced from the organically farmed Bassi Vineyard in California’s San Luis Obispo Coast. Crafted by artist-winemaker Ashkahn Shahparnia, this wine embodies a minimalist, artistic approach, utilizing direct-press techniques to achieve its ethereal character. As a zero-zero wine (no added sulfur or filtration), it retains a pure expression of the fruit and terroir.
Expect a pale coral hue with vibrant aromas of watermelon, strawberry, and rose petals, complemented by a hint of coastal minerality. On the palate, it’s crisp and refreshing, with flavors of red berries, citrus zest, and a touch of salinity, finishing dry and clean. Its light, elegant profile makes it an ideal match for summer salads, grilled seafood, or soft cheeses. Produced in limited quantities, this rosé captures ASHKAHN’s playful yet refined ethos.
