Bartoli Giusti Rosso di Montalcino 2024 DOC Rosso di Montalcino, Tuscany

From one of Montalcino’s historic families (Bartoli Giusti / Tenuta Comunali), this is pure Sangiovese grown in the central hills of the appellation. Hand-harvested and aged 10–12 months in oak barrels before a short bottle rest.

Bright, mid-weight ruby. The nose is pretty and expressive: ripe red cherry, tobacco, anise, dried flowers, and a touch of Tuscan spice. On the palate it’s lively and fresh—juicy red fruit, good acidity, fine tannins, and a clean, structured finish with real Sangiovese character. Approachable now yet built with enough backbone to develop further.
