From Anne Ramonet’s family estate high above Péronne in the Mâconnais (the Ferret family has farmed here since 1872), this is a pure, high-elevation Gamay that delivers serious Burgundy character at a friendly price.

Bright, medium-light ruby. The nose opens with juicy red and black cherries, purple flowers, a touch of gamebird and woodsmoke, fresh thyme, and dark soil tones. On the palate it’s vibrant and balanced—sappy red fruit, good acidity, moderate fine tannins, and a clean mineral/soil undertow that keeps it focused.
