Domaine Brazilier "Méthode Traditionnelle" Brut Rosé is a vibrant and distinctive sparkling rosé from the Loire Valley in France, produced using the traditional method (the same as Champagne, with secondary fermentation in the bottle). This non-vintage (NV) Crémant-style sparkler comes from the Coteaux du Vendômois appellation, where the domaine practices organic and biodynamic farming on chalky limestone soils with vines averaging 25+ years old.
It is made from 100% Pineau d’Aunis — a rare, indigenous dark-skinned red grape native to the Loire — giving this rosé its unique personality and spicy signature.
The result is a dry (Brut, with just ~3 g/L dosage) sparkling wine showing a beautiful pale salmon-pink hue, fine and persistent bubbles, and invigorating acidity.
On the nose, it offers elegant aromas of fresh red fruits — ripe strawberry, watermelon, red currant, and cranberry — intertwined with delicate peony florals, the grape’s hallmark white pepper and spicy lift, and a chalky minerality that reflects the limestone terroir.
The palate is dry yet juicy and refreshing, delivering flavors of sweet strawberries, crisp honeycrisp apple, tart citrus, and a subtle spicy edge. It finishes clean, silky, and mineral-driven with bright acidity and a lingering chalky freshness that begs another sip.
