Domaine Pierre-Olivier Bonhomme Sauvignon 2023 is a lively, natural white wine from the Loire Valley, France, crafted under the Puzelat-Bonhomme négociant project in Touraine. Made from 100% Sauvignon Blanc sourced from organic vineyards on clay-limestone soils, this wine reflects Bonhomme’s minimalist approach. The grapes are hand-harvested, gently pressed, and fermented with native yeasts in stainless steel tanks, followed by six months of aging on fine lees to enhance texture. Bottled unfined and unfiltered with minimal sulfur (up to 15 mg/L if needed), it pours a pale straw color with vibrant aromas of grapefruit, green apple, white peach, and fresh-cut grass, accented by a flinty minerality. On the palate, it’s crisp and refreshing, with zesty acidity, citrus-driven fruit, and a clean, chalky finish. At 12.5% ABV, this expressive Sauvignon Blanc is ideal with goat cheese, seafood, or light vegetable dishes. Serve chilled at 8–10°C for a pure, terroir-driven Loire experience.
