The G.D. Vajra 2019 Bricco delle Viole Barolo is an exquisite expression of Nebbiolo from the prestigious Barolo DOCG in Piedmont, Italy, crafted by the renowned family-owned estate of G.D. Vajra. Sourced from the high-elevation Bricco delle Viole vineyard (at 400-480 meters above sea level) in the commune of Barolo, this wine benefits from the site's unique clay-calcareous soils rich in Sant'Agata marl and fossils, which impart exceptional mineral depth and vertical structure. The 2019 vintage, marked by balanced weather conditions, yields a wine of remarkable energy and nuance, aged for 28 months in large Slavonian oak casks before bottling.In the glass, it displays a bright ruby hue with jeweled clarity.
