Grown on a true island in the Rhône just upstream from the Mediterranean, this is one of the most distinctive everyday rosés coming out of the south of France. Domaine Isle Saint-Pierre (family-run since 1927, now under fourth-generation Julien Henry) farms ~200 hectares of deep sandy-silty alluvial soils surrounded by water. The cooling influence and saline edge of the Camargue give the wine a quiet mineral lift you rarely find in more inland Provençal rosés.

The 2025 is a lively, free-run blend built around Cabernet Franc and Merlot, with supporting roles for Syrah, Malbec, Vermentino, Nielluccio, Colombard and a few other southern varieties. Short cold maceration, stainless-steel fermentation, and no oak keep it pure and direct. Pale, luminous pink with a bright, fruity nose of ripe strawberry, red currant, dried fig, and a touch of citrus zest and spring flowers. On the palate it’s dry, medium-light, and smoothly textured, with juicy red fruit, a gentle saline snap, and crisp, refreshing acidity that carries through a clean, lingering finish.
