Sourced from dry-grown, organic Shiraz vines on Ralph Wood’s farm in the Clarendon hills of McLaren Vale (sandy, iron-rich soils at elevation), this is a low-intervention wine made with minimal sulfur, often unfined and unfiltered. The 2022 vintage captures the energy of the site with whole-bunch elements and thoughtful handling that keeps the wine bright and alive.

Tasting Notes

Expect a light-to-medium-bodied red with electric acidity and juicy, lifted fruit. Aromas and flavors burst with raspberry, strawberry, cherry, and forest fruits, layered with floral notes, smoky undertones, and a distinctive mineral backbone that gives it depth and poise. There’s a touch of that classic “strawberry funk” and subtle earthiness typical of Jauma’s style, with fine, refreshing tannins and excellent drinkability.
