From the volcanic gabbro soils of Vallet, just outside Nantes in the western Loire Valley, fourth-generation vigneron Jean-Pascal Aubron crafts his first orange wine — a bold skin-contact expression of old-vine Melon de Bourgogne.
This cuvée spends 14 days on the skins before native-yeast fermentation. Unfined, lightly filtered, and made with zero added sulfur, it delivers a lightly amber hue and a perfect marriage of texture and freshness.
Tasting Notes Vibrant aromas of orange zest, ripe peach, and apricot with a hint of smoke and earth. The palate is crisp and mineral-driven, showing juicy stone fruit, wet stones, bright acidity, gentle tannic grip, and a long, saline, mouthwatering finish.
Refreshing, complex, and irresistibly drinkable — classic Atlantic minerality meets modern orange-wine intrigue.
