Le Coeur de la Reine Touraine Gamay 2024 is a lively, chillable red from France's Loire Valley, crafted by fourth-generation siblings Ludivine and Rodolphe Marteau in the Touraine appellation. This family project highlights classic Gamay from the central Loire, emphasizing pure fruit and effortless drinkability.The 2024 vintage is 100% Gamay from 30-year-old vines planted on clay-flint soils. Sustainably farmed with practices like green harvesting for low yields, the grapes are hand-picked and undergo 8 days of carbonic maceration in stainless steel tanks, followed by fermentation with native yeasts. No oak, minimal sulfur—completely dry, light alcohol around 12–12.5% ABV.Bright and light-bodied, it bursts with ripe strawberry, raspberry, and cherry aromas, laced with delicate spice, pink peppercorn, fresh herbs, and subtle floral notes.
