Le Coeur de la Reine Touraine Sauvignon Blanc 2024 is a bright, aromatic white from France's Loire Valley, produced by fourth-generation siblings Ludivine and Rodolphe Marteau in the Touraine appellation. This family estate focuses on sustainable farming and minimal-intervention winemaking to showcase pure, vibrant varietal character.The 2024 vintage is 100% Sauvignon Blanc from 30-year-old vines planted on clay-flint soils. Meticulously tended with short pruning, de-budding, deleafing, and green harvesting for concentration and low yields, the grapes are hand-picked and fermented with native yeasts in stainless steel tanks. No oak, minimal sulfur—completely dry, crisp acidity, and light alcohol around 12–12.5% ABV.Pale lemon in the glass, it opens with an intense, inviting nose of citrus (lemon, grapefruit zest), exotic fruit basket notes, blackcurrant bud, and subtle herbal freshness. The palate is supple yet elegant: zesty and refreshing with lively fruit, balanced suppleness, and a clean, frank finish that lingers vibrantly.
