Leradici (“The Roots”) is Mauro Molino’s heartfelt project celebrating the family’s origins in the Asti area. Sourced from a carefully selected vineyard in Costigliole d’Asti (hamlet of Burio) — one of the finest zones for Barbera d’Asti — this wine offers a more structured and complex expression of the variety than many entry-level examples.

The 2023 vintage shows ripe yet vibrant aromas of red cherry, blackberry, violet, and a touch of spice, with subtle floral undertones. On the palate it delivers excellent structure for Barbera: bright, lively acidity keeps it fresh, while supple, velvety tannins and good concentration give it depth and persistence. The fruit is juicy and layered, with a clean, satisfying finish.

Made by one of Barolo’s respected producers, this is a serious yet approachable Barbera d’Asti with the concentration and balance to develop nicely over the next 4–6 years.
