Plouzeau Perles Fines Rosé Chinon, Loire Valley (Sparkling / Pétillant)
Marc Plouzeau’s estate (Château de la Bonnelière) sits in the heart of Chinon, where the family has farmed organically for years across gravel, clay-limestone, and flint soils. The Perles Fines Rosé is pure Cabernet Franc, hand-harvested and made with a light, precise touch so the fruit stays front and center.
Vibrant pale-to-medium pink with fine, lively bubbles and a frothy mousse. The nose is pure and charming: ripe strawberry, raspberry, white cherry, a touch of tangerine zest, and the classic Cabernet Franc lift of currant leaf and a faint smoky white-pepper note. On the palate it’s crisp, dry, and refreshing—just-picked red fruit, bright acidity, and a clean, savory finish with good length and grip. Soft enough to drink easily, structured enough to hold interest.
