Raïmones Engrescada Rosé Pet-Nat 2023 is a fun, fizzy, natural sparkling rosé from Catalonia's Penedès region in Spain, produced by Raïmones—the exciting collaborative venture of the younger generation from three historic neighboring wine families. Committed to organic farming, dry-farmed indigenous varieties, and low-intervention methods, this pétillant-naturel captures the fresh, vibrant energy of the area in a bottle.The 2023 vintage is a blend featuring local grapes such as Mandó, Xarel·lo, and possibly others (variations across releases include Merlot or similar for rosé hue and structure), hand-harvested from their 10ha plot. Made in the ancestral method: primary fermentation starts in tank with native yeasts, then bottled before completion to capture natural CO2—no dosage, no added sugars, minimal sulfur. Completely dry, lively effervescence, and refreshing alcohol around 12–12.7% ABV.Pale salmon-pink in the glass with energetic bubbles, it bursts with big, juicy aromas of strawberry, raspberry, red berries, and a touch of spice, accented by subtle herbal notes and citrus freshness. The palate is super crushable: light-bodied, frothy mousse, ripe fruit-forward flavors with bright acidity, a hint of salinity or minerality, and a clean, dry finish—playful, refreshing, and endlessly drinkable.
